The Silicon Vertex Detector (SVD) is a strip detector consisting out of 4 layers. The ladders in a layer have two different distances to center point (radii). The two outer layer have a slanted parts. For simulating it in Mokka the following naming convention is used for the layers.

  • 31 and 32 for the 1. layer
  • 41 and 42 for the 2. layer
  • 51 and 53 for the 3. layer and 52 and 54 for the slanted parts
  • 61 and 63 for the 4. layer and 62 and 64 for the slanted parts
